Very short weather post.  We’re sadly under a ridge of high pressure for the foreseeable future.  Maybe a dusting on Thursday December 10?  Then, and we’re practically out in forecast fairyland, a more powerful system is set to come in on Friday (12/11) or Saturday (12/12).  Perhaps.  Canadian Model is saying 9”, American Model is saying 3.5”, and the European Model is saying 1”.  The system is way too far out for me to add any editorial on likelihood of snowfall or which model I think may be more accurate.

Quick retrospective discussion – Eldora reported 2” of snow on Tuesday, which is right in line with most model predictions (but NAM was too optimistic).

Enjoy the pleasant and sunny weekend, but let’s all pray for snow.
