The warm weather is about to end.  Yeah!

A low pressure system currently over Los Angeles, pulling moisture from both our west and our southwest will barrel towards us in short order.  This is a complex system, with moisture coming from several directions and in several waves.  There will be a weak upslope associated with some of these waves.  The system looks to start around Friday afternoon and end around Monday evening.  During that time, here are the various model snow forecasts for our patrol zone:

11” – Canadian Model

9” – American, WRF, UK Met, and European Models

The next round looks to hit us from the northwest around Wednesday (3/9) or Thursday (3/10).  Here are the various model snow forecasts from Wednesday to Saturday (3/12):

8” – European Model

5” – Canadian and American Models

Cheers.
