Apologies for the short forecast, but work is very busy.  Snow winds down this morning.  A relatively windy Wednesday, and dustings of snow possible between now and Saturday.  Then, the first real system from our patrol area’s perspective is set to enter from west late Saturday.  Canadian Model is predicting 3” and American Model is predicting 2.”

Another shot of snow Monday or Tuesday, with both American and Canadian Models predicting ½”.

Retrospective Discussion:

Eldora reported 1” on Sunday morning, received somewhere between 3-5” fresh on Monday morning, and reported an additional 1” on Tuesday morning.  This exceeded even the most optimistic model, the WRF Model, which is great.  And this really put the Canadian, European, and NAM Models to shame.
