Happy New Year!

Unfortunately, the small snows that were forecasted for today through this upcoming Tuesday are looking smaller than I forecasted this past Tuesday, as the weak systems are on a more northerly track.  The Canadian model is calling for 1” Saturday night and then a dusting Sunday night.  The NAM Model is calling for ½” on Saturday, and then a dusting on Sunday.  The American, European, and WRF Models are just calling for dustings.

The next system to move in is on Tuesday / Wednesday from the west northwest.  The Canadian Model is calling for 2.5” on Tuesday, the European Model is calling for 2” on Tuesday/Wednesday, and the American Model is calling for ½” on Tuesday and Wednesday.  As of now, unfortunately, I don’t see any indications of this being bigger than forecasted.

After that, sadly, there’s no snow forecasted until well out in forecast fairyland, with maybe something next weekend.
